Date for Your Diary 14 June Family Fun Day & Dog Show

The team at Whitehouse Kennels & Cattery welcome all animal lovers to a fantastic afternoon of fundraising events to help raise money for some great local animal charities and celebrate our 25th anniversary.

Gorgeous rosettes will be awarded to all entries placed 1st to 5th in the 10 fun dog classes and each class winner will receive a trophy and bag of James Wellbeloved. Classes will be judges by our VIP guest, Lara Alford from The Blue Cross.

Sarah Lindsey and her team's dogs from Little Orchard Dog Training Academy will be running a dog agility ring where you can watch their dogs fly over jumps, run through tunnels and weave in and out of poles and up and over A-frames. You will be able to have a go with your dog and if you fancy something even more energetic there with be a dog egg and spoon race.

Ian Stobart and his team from Clarendon Vets will be running a teddy bear hospital where little ones will be able to take their favourite bear for any essential repairs and a routine bear check-up. Bandages will be plentiful together with lots of love and care.

The highlight of the day will be the teddy bear parade judged by the very best teddy bear judge, Carolyn of Carolyns Drove Road and her team of very important teddy bear judges.

Our very lovely ladies from the Weston Breast Cancer support group will be serving homemade cakes and sandwiches and drink from their marquee. We have provided their marquee for the day so everything they raise goes to help local women please fill up on cake and drinks and pop in for a chat.

Ian from Clarendon vets and his team in-between their teddy bear duties will be running a well pet tent where you can ask any pet related questions.

There will be lot of stalls to visit including a tombola and raffle, glitter tattoos by the friends of Lympsham School, Bed, Bones and Beyond, cake raffle by The Icing Centre. Charity stands supporting us include Labrador Rescue, Burnham RNLI, Cat Protection, Pointer Rescue, friends of Lympsham Church, Dog Friends, National Animal Welfare Trust and Secret World. As we are writing this we are receiving more offers to attend so we apologise if we haven't mentioned you yet.

Please come and join us to celebrate 25 years at Whitehouse Kennels and help us raise money for the charities we support.
